Profile Datuk Lee Chong Wei
Datuk Lee Chong Wei born on 21 October 1982 in Bagan Serai, Perak. He is a professional badminton player of Malaysian Chinese who resides in Bukit Mertajam. As a single player, Lee was ranked first worldwide for 199 consecutive weeks from 21 August 2008 to 14 June 2012. He is the third Malasian men's single shuttler after Rashid Sidek and Roslin Hashim to achieve such a ranking since official rankings were first kept in the 1980s, and the only Malaysian shutter to hold the ranking for more than two weeks.
In 2012 Olympic games and 2008 Olympic games, Lee obtained silver medalist, thus becoming the first Malaysian to reach the final of the men's singles event and completed Malaysia's Olympic medal drought since the 1996 games. This achievement earned him a title "Datuk" and a compliment by Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Najib Tun Razak as a "national hero".

Koo Kien Kiat & Tan Boon HeongKoo Kien keat born on September 18, 1985 in ipoh, Perak. He is a professional badminton player from Malaysia. Besides being a men's doubles player, he also represents Malaysia in the mixed double event. He started his career at seventeen years old and has won the Asia Junior title. He played in the Thomas Cup 2004 with Chan Chong Ming. They won bronze in the World Championships 2005. His current doubles partner is Tan Boon Heong and together in 2010 they became the number 1 ranked men's doubles team in the world. Koo moves very fast around the net areas and is adventurous with deceptive shots. He is good in fast flat exchanges.A favourite formation is when he is on the front court and his partner, the main smasher, attacks from the rear of the court with powerful, left-handed smashes.

Tan Boon Heong born on September 18, 1987 in Alor Setar, Kedah. He is a professional badminton player representating Malaysian in the men's doubles event. He and his current doubles partner Koo Kien Kiat are in rank 8th in men's doubles in the world. Before this he was paired with Hoon Thien How, with whom he won the World Junior Championships in 2004 and a silver medal at the 2006 Asian Badminton Champioships. At the 2009 Japan Super Series, Boon Heong make a world record after do smashes at 421 km/h. This was done under lab conditions and recorded by Yonex representatives, but not in official match. At the 2010 BWF World Championships, Boon Heong and Kien Kiat launched themselves into the semifinals after beating Korean's rivals, Lee Yong Dae and Jung Jae Sung. In the semifinals they defeated China;s Guo Zhendong and Xu Chen 21-14, 21-18. Tan and Koo wrote their names in the record books, for being the first Malaysian pair to pair to enter a World Championships Final after 13 years.

Malaysia's top couple in Mix doubles Badminton Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying proved their superiority in the arena when they entitled mixed Doubles title at the Malaysia Open GP Gold 2012 on Sunday, May 9. Peng Soon and Liu Ying who are positioned at number 9 in world rankings, were top seeds in the tournament and they showed their impressive performance and cheered their home fans by nailing the title.
